Freedom To Worship

Ya so FRiday night I was given the privilledge of playing acoustic and I had a great time. Usually when I play I'm worried about not screwing up, but this night was different. I was there and everything just flowed. I didn't stress about sounding bad and stuff like that. I just let God be my hands and went with it. It was awesome! I think it was the best guitar that I ever played. Anyways, It was cool how GOd just gave me a new freedom to worship!!!

Double Date

Well it's official... Yesterday Beck and I had our first double date with our fantabulous cell leaders. It was quite enjoyable. We went to Jack Astors and had a nice meal. It was fun, as we got to chat and draw weird and comical pictures on the table with green and brown crayons. I found it very disturbing that there was no yellow or orange crayons in sight...

Ah well the night was fun, and now the pressure is off. Its all down hill from here.

SUPER SIZE ME!

Ya so today I saw Super Size Me. Its the movie where this guy eats nothing but McDonalds for a whole month. First of all... He cheated. He chose to do it in February... Which is the shortest month!!! Anyways it was really nasty. This guy almost went into liver failure, and gained like 30lbs. Ya it was nasty. The worst part that I saw was in the bonus section on the DVD. It was called the smoking fry. They put all these burgers in glass jars and let them sit for like 10 weeks. Every thing molded over. Except for the fries. These things looked the same 10 weeks later, as they did the first day.

Anyways, I'm sure I give up in about a month, but I've decided to lay off McDonalds, and most of the other fast food restaurants. I might still do Subway or Quizno's. I've also decided that Wendy's Chili is still good. Other then that... No MORE FAST FOOD!

EFFECTS! EFFECTS! EFFECTS!

Yes its true, I do indeed have a new and better effects kit! For those who don't know, it is for my electric guitar and it makes a crap load of sounds that acutally sound good. My other kit was a cheap one that I only used like 4 effects. This one has like 600 plus and I can see myself using like 50 - 100 on a regular basis.

I have to be carefull though, because if become dependant on my effects, then my skills won't be increasing. Other then that I think it will be really cool.

Pray for my skills to increase... And for my knowledge of the guitar to grow as well.

WOW

Its kinda strange... I've been going to this church for like ever, and seen everything that there is to be seen. Ever since I've started working with Duncan its as if there is a new refreshing. Everything seems cool again. Its not just the same old people falling over and shaking, but its people falling over and shaking and having God do stuff in there hearts. I've always known this, but recently its just sunk in.

I guess its a new thing that God has put on my heart. In other GOd related news... I've seen some crazy stuff at CTF. Roland Baker is a wild man! He calls the whole conference to the front of the stage and then like dives into the middle and starts praying for people like a chicken with his head cut off. People are going left....right... up...down!!! Its crazy. I saw one lady come cm's away from banging her head on the corner of a chair. Also in the forbiden zone (hospitality room), Duncan greeted a guy by shoot a machine gun(in the spirit) at him. He fell onto a chair which nearly knocked a whole table over. It was nuts. Duncan then goes on about eating his food, and just as the guy was going to get up.... He shoots an arrow at him. I don't think the guy knew what hit him, nor did hie ever eat his lunch...

Things that used to be old are now new and I am so refreshed!!!

SHARKS TALE ROCKS!

YA SO I SAW "A SHARKS TALE" YESTERDAY AND IT WAS THE FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVEN'T SEEN IT.... SEE IT! THERE ARE JAMAICAN JELLY FISH AND A CRAZT HOBO LOBSTER. ITS FANTASTIC. GO SEE IT... NOW....


ANYWAYS CATCH THE FIRE HAS STARTED AGAIN, AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? IT MEANS GOOD TIMES. WELL ONLY IF YOU ARE ATTENDING THE CONFERENCE. IF YOU HAVE TO WORK AT IT THEN IT SUCKS. ITS LONG HARD HOURS AND LOTS OF PEOPLE GETTING IN THE WAY OF WORK. MY ONLY CONSOLEMENT IS THE HOSPITALITY ROOM. YA, ALL THAT FILET MINION AND LOBSTER WILL KEEP ME SAIN.

CRAP ON A STICK!

So, for those of you who are avid readers of my blog, you will have noticed that I was bragging somewhat about me going to a 3rd Day concert for free. Well.... I didn't go.... For Shame... It turns out that some day a couple weeks back I told Lyla that I would work in the bookstore. We'll This morning I stole in to find that my name is indeed on the schedule and that I do indeed have to work. CRAP!!!!!! Anyways, I would like to say sorry to Lee and Sarah who had graciously offered me and Beck a ride. They had to drive all the way back from Woodstock, just to find out that we couldn't go. So I think because of that I will have to take Sarah and Lee off of the hit list.

for those of you still on the hit list.... Be Warned... I never forget!!!!

Also, in their place, I have replaced them with Shaun Bradley and Kimiko something or other.

The two of them know what they did!!!!!

Third Freakin Day!!!

So ya, there is a third day concert Tommorow and I'm going. Not only do I get to go with Beck, but it doesn't cost me a dime!!! So ya, I get to volenteer at some world vision desk and I get free entrance to the park, and free concert!!! Ya I can't wait. This will be my first concert ever!!!! So I can't wait. Maybe I'll see some of you guys there!
