I never got into the whole journaling thing so I think this is where I will put my thoughts...

Christmas Day

So ya, today is christmas and I just got home. It was quite the day... I stayed the night at Beck's house and spent christmas day with her whole family. The night was fun before, they had like an open house and I pretty much chatted it up with random people the whole night. At 12 am Ben and I retreated to play Halo 2... Later that evening at 3:30 they opened up one gift each. Six hours later I awoke to find that Beck hadn't yet gone to bed due to her wrapping the entire families gifts. She went to bed at 9 and woke up at 11:30 when breakfast was ready (thanks to Ben and I). We then opened up what seemed to be an endless supply of gifts that took the better part of the day to get through... 4:30 rolls around and the last present is opened. Then a light bulb goes off and they remember that they have to put the turkey in the oven. Since it is a freakin huge bird, it was going to take 6 hours to cook, and since my ride home came at 8... I didn't get no food... Instead I went to Tim Hortons and had a sandwhich.

Today was great... I loved my day, and a great time with BEcks family. Can't wait till next year.. She comin to my christmas tommorow and well have some good times too.

Snow Day!!!!

So today is what I like to call a snow day. Schools are canceled, except for the fact that schools are out for Christmas... Also, its almost like work is canceled!!! There are like 15 people at work today... Most of which are in the media department... Good job guys... Anyways it's so crazy looking at all the snow and ice and snow and ice... I love it, except for the snow part, oh and the ice part... Oh well, its a snowboarders dream world. Anyways today has only been today for like 4 hours or so and man has it been great!!

  1. My dentist was like " dude your mouth is so clean... can I like use you as a dental model" paraphrased... Ya I got like no cavities and the best part was that since I clean my teeth so well, he only took like 5 min to do the check up it was great!
  2. While waiting for my Dad to finish with the dentist, my brother and I watched cars try to make it up an inclined hill. It was great, some cars made it, others didn't, and then when people got mad at other people for not making it up the hill, it was even better.
  3. I got some cool gifts today... Big ups to Pudd for the "Iraq's Most Wanted" playing cards, and big ups to Bill Fish (My Secret santa) for the cool t-shirt.

Merry christmas to all and God bless you.

Tis the Season

It's Christmas time, it's cold outside
This is the time when most parents lie,

Their children are told about a fat guy in a suit
He leaves candies and a bunch of other loot.

Everyone gets a couple days off work,
except for chefs, hotel clerks, and clerks.

Tis the season to be jolly,
to decorate our houses with tinsle and holly.

Boy, I do love this season indeed,
its Jesus's birthday.... Yipeeee.

Merry Christmas Everyone....

How to Be a Success

Well, in my last leaders cell with Jason, he gave me this article that was in some business magazine. I love it. It helps with business leadership and also leadership in general. Give it a read and tell me what you think.

  1. How you think is everything: Always be positive. THink success, not faliure. Berware of a negative enviroment.
  2. Decide upon your true dreams and goals: Write down your specific goals and develope a plan to reach them.
  3. Take Action: Goals are nothing without action. Don't be afraid to get started, just do it!
  4. Never Stop Learning: Go back to school or read books. Get trainning and aquire skills.
  5. Be Persosotant and Work Hard: Success is a marathon, not a sprint. Never give up.
  6. Learn to Analyse Details: Get all the facts, all the input. Learn from your mistakes.
  7. Focus Your Time and Money: Don't let other people or things distract you.
  8. DOn't Be Afraid to Innovate; Be Different: Following the herd is a sure way to mediocrity. (Jonofied- If your not the lead dog then the view is always the same)
  9. Deal and Communicate with people effectively: No person is an island. Learn to understand and motivate others.
  10. Be Honest and Dependable; Take Responsiblity: Otherwise, 1-9 won't matter!

S o ya, these things are so cool and have already helped me to see where I need improvement in my leadership skills.

Slacker

So I know that I have been slacking off with the whole blog thing, but its cos I'm super busy. I'm finishing up my semester at school and have papers and projects and exams all back to back. Other than that I'm doing great. Work rocks, I love it... Some cool stuff is comin up, but its classified so I can tell you. The Fish (Bill Fish) and I have been doing some cool videos about life at tacf. They are hillara-freaking-ous. But only those on staff, or those that come to the youth banquet will see them. Also today is December 9th and that means 3 month of me dating the beautiful rebecca poulsen. Praise Jebus and woohoo.

So life is cool, and christmas break is coming up so I get like a month off.... WOW!
