Rock Star In Training

So yes it is true, I did indeed play guitar Sunday morning for the church. And yes it is also true that I lead a song musicaly (I didn't sing though), and it is also true that my finger tips are hurting like a mad man on crack.

So ya I got to play with Drew, Jason, Laura, Tyler, Kathryn, Diedra, Peter Lazar. Oh its true... My dreams a beggining to come true, accept I can't fly yet so not all of them are becoming true. Ya it was so fun.... I had my feauxhawk for the whole church and internet viewers to see. I thought I played pretty good and so did everyone else...

My one squibble is that many people kept saying..." look out Matt Redman, here comes Jon", or they would say, "look who it is... It's Matt Redman Jr.". For the record, I'm first going after Jeremey Sinnot, then BJ, then Matt Redman.

So i've made my hit list.... So watch out....

Also many people have been like, "remeber me when your U2 famous"... First of all, I don't want to be U2 famous. I want to be somewhere in between Delirious and and like The backstreet boys... But I also would like the staying power of U2, so I won't be a one or two hit wonder.

Anyways now you know my dreams.... So if your on the hitlist... That means you Jeremy Sinnot.... Then watch out cause here I come!!

2B or not 2B, that is the question

Well, I'm aorry but my title has nothing to do with this post so tough. Anyways, so I'm feelin better now and I'm back to my former self. Thank you all for your warm and cheerful comments and all those get well cards that were sent out. Anyways, the topic of this post is busyness. Yes its true busyness. I've looked over my past week, and the next coming two weeks and I am realizing that I am going to be out each night. That means no breaks, no TV, no guitar (well some guitar) and no homecooked meals. I know this may sound enjoyable to some, but for me it sucks. I need my downtime and I come to enjoy it. In order to battle this busyness syndrome, I have decided to do as little as possible when I do find a spare 20 min here or 1/2 hour their. Oh its true, I think I try to not even blink. I will save up all my strength so I can push through this season of busyness and gift buying.

BTW, does anyone know any cool gift ideas that are like 10 bucks or less?

Sick and Hating it

So ya the past 2 days have been mucho crapo due to the fact that I've been sick... Its like a head cold or the flu... I don't know what it si but it sucks. To top it off its conference time, so here I am working 2 jobs a day.... Yah, isn't life grande. Oh well the Jesus will heal me....

Stress X Infinite

SO today is Monday, and I'm so stressed right now. I got to school at 7:45 and have been working hard all freakin day. So far I have had to Tests out of my two classes and when I wasn't in class I was studying for the tests!!! In about an hour I have a huge presentaion on flexible benifits in the work place. I do fine with that since alls I gotz to do is expand off some power points and impress my teachers with good eye contact and poise. Anyways, later this week I have to write a paper and still work two jobs since its a conference coming up and the bookstore needs me. Oh well, at least I'll get some extra cash so I can get Beck a really nice present for Christmas....

NEW HAIR DEW

Yes its true... Jon Long finally changed his hair style. Ya some friendly coaching and great style sense led me to get a fauxhawk. Ya its not as intense as Steve's, but it is more like Lee's. Ya so I've joined the club. Now I got to fork out the cash for gell though. Oh well....

ZEO WAS A SUCCESS

SO ya the Zeo party was really cool. I personally thought that no-one would turn up, but they did so it was a pleasant surprise. I think there was like 300 people? Anyways, it was so cool!!! J Puddy did indeed play the hits and got the crownd pumpin. JP and the Heavy Tigers (DRU, SASHA, TYLER) got everyones feet tappin with there funk stuff (SO GOOOD... WHere is the CD?). And Jim Toucci for President (PETE LAZAR, SEAN the small group leader(I think), and some random bass player(I don't know)) got people worshipin and pressin in with there loop and live worship stuff. IT was all really good I thought...

My job that night was to run security, set-up and clean up. All things got done and were actually quite easy to do. A big thank to all those security guys that helped me out. I need to give a big thank to Kenny, for finding a knife in a guys bag... Good job!!!

So ya it was cool, everything went pretty smoothly. My favorite part of the night was kicking people off the balcony. I went up a couple times and kicked some random kids off, and then some weird guys? But the coolest and best thing was when Jason was like "there is people on the balcony, go kick'em off". So I did, and to my surprise the beautiful, and wonderful Beck was up there with Beth C. The cool part was that I though Beck had left like 3 hours before that, so I was in total shock. The bonus was that we got to hang out for like another hour or so and had a great time.

So ya, the Zeo was cool and I can't wait for the next one. The only thing is that we need to get some better freakin lights. One didn't work at all... ANother one just sucked, and a third one wasn't even bright enough to light up a small bathroom, let alone a dance floor. OH WELL... LIVE AND LEARN
